Ikki Sake Bar was looking to rebrand for their 6th year anniversary. The purpose of the rebrand was to pivot their business model to have a competitive edge over other Japanese hot spots around Edmonton, while also accommodating the adjustments that had to happen in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ikki’s goal is to reach new, and more, clients that love to drink, party, and socialize with friends. They want to be known as a modern Japanese “hole-in-the-wall” bar serving a large selection of sake as well as small snacks with an Asian twist.
I lead the graphic design needs of the rebrand while also collaborating with Ikki’s owners and their marketing partners on ideas and execution of various design and marketing strategies.
